You play as an architect trapped in an endless cycle, a divine punishment for humanity's ambition and hubris. Your goal is to fend off monsters sent by the gods to reach the top of the tower, only to build it further up to eventually reach heaven.
Our gameplay is a combination of visual novel and tactical RPG. You engage in turn based chess-like combat while progressing through the story. Your choices in and out of combat both influence your ending and whether you're able to escape the loop. The story is inspired by Camus' "Sisyphean heroism," which believes that Sisyphus pushing the boulder is meaningful if he finds happiness doing it. Our music also uses loops until the final track, which only plays once, signaling breaking out of the loop(or not?)
